Finals

This is a selection of a few of my final images I have created.

Below is a final image I created for a project called Illustrated Word I looked into and tried many different themes until I came to the theme of weapons, I liked the idea as I saw the shapes of the letters could be made into several different weapons, I tried several different ways and weapons until I came to this final image below I firstly drew the image and then transferred it into Photoshop where I added colour and shading to get this final product.
Below are two final images I have created for a self portrait project they are in different styles of different artists the first is inspired by Julian Opie and the second is inspired by Russ Mills I created these images using digital media and traditional media such as inks and powder paint, I combined the two to create the Russ Mills image, I created the Julian Opie using Adobe Illustrator.

Below is one of many final images I have created for my Issues project, for this project  had to create images using traditional media such as paints and Brusho powder, the issue i chose was the issue of war in Iraq i found many reference images to inspire me to create this image and many more, I decided that I would make my images look rough and grungy to reflect on the issue of war as it is a horrible thing.

Below is a life drawing i did of a sheep skull for a project called Observational Drawing, i did several different drawings of many different inanimate objects, I also did fine liner drawings of these objects this is my final image i created by observing the sheep skull and using pencil to draw and add shading on A3 cartridge paper.

Below is a life drawing i have done in pencil using a live model.
i am suitable for this course as I enjoy graphic design and I feel that I am skilled in enough in this area to pursue it further. i am interested in this course as as I would eventually like get into the graphic design industry. I want to develop my skills higher to make me stand out from everyone else.

Radio Station Project

In this project I had to create a radio station in the theme of my favorite genre of music, the genre I chose was rap and rock rap below is a mind map of words and images that are associated with my chosen genre. i then made a mind map of words and items associated with the genre to come up with a name for my radio station, as most rappers are obsessed with money and jewelry i decided to name my station Bling Bling FM.

Below is an image of my idea generation after coming up with the name for my station i used this in my ideas, i tried several different ways of showing in my logo what the genre of my radio station is, i decided to take the theme of what is usually associated with rap which is gangsters, guns, money and urban influences such as graffiti style images an writing, on the first page i also tried experiments with different media such as paints, I did several experiments with many different materials.

Below is my development for one of my final logos i decided to go with this idea and develop it as i thought that it had the most potential as i shows the sort of violence and showing off of jewelry or "Bling" i tried several different colours and layouts.

Below is another development and final images for my primary radio station logo i used this as my final as i felt that it looked less simple than the other, although the other logo was in keeping with the idea of the logo being related to the genre i felt that this design captured the genre better.

Below are my primary and secondary final pieces on the left is the piece i used as my primary final witch I used on my bullet visuals and several different promotional items such as pens and a digitally rendered t-shirt.

Below are a few bullet visuals advertising my radio station for the first visual i used an inspiration from a popular and well known rap from a well known rap artist, the second i simply wanted to perceive my station to be the best station for its genre.
